We run TheMinorSite as a hobby, for its members and for our own fun
- we're not here to make a quick killing out of our members. I've
personally bought a number of products from online stores and am
happy to say that Cafepress goods are of very high quality. If they
were not good, I wouldn't buy them myself!
Why
use a US supplier rather than one from the UK?
It comes down to a combination of quality and price. There are a few
retailers who are based in the UK who offer similar products, but as
you can see above Cafepress prices are very competitive.
How much exactly will the items cost and are there any additional
charges to pay?
The prices quoted above are approximations, based on current
exchange rates. The pound is currently very strong against the
dollar, which is why the prices are so competitive. Obviously rates
change day to day, but only by literally 1 or 2%. You will
definitely not pay any more than 5% more or less than the prices
shown.
Shipping from the US isnt however cheap, but still makes the
items cheaper than buying in the UK. Your first item will cost $7
(unless its a bumper sticker which is significantly cheaper), with
subsequent products in the same order at $4 or less. As an example,
Ive just processed an order for four items and the total shipping
bill was $13 - about £7.
Is it
safe to give my credit card to Cafepress?
Cafepress use a secure online server which guarantees your credit
card safety. Before your purchase is confirmed, you are given a
guarantee that your details are safe and that you will not be
responsible for any charges for goods which you did not order
yourself.
What if I
want to send the items as a gift?
During your order process you are given the opportunity to send the
item(s) directly to someone else as a gift. If you choose this
option, no invoice will accompany the shipping. You will be given
the opportunity to print off a sales receipt directly from your
browser instead.
What if I'm not
happy with the goods?
That's another reason we chose Cafepress from all the online
suppliers. On ALL orders there is a 30 day satisfaction guarantee.
If you don't like it, send it back and you'll get a full refund.
