Stella is my beautiful 1958 Morris Minor 1000. I have had the privilege of driving her for the past two years and will be very sad to see her go. As I will shortly moving on and starting university, the time has come for someone else to love her and get as much enjoyment from her as I have had. Stella is taxed exempt and has a valid MOT certificate until 16th December 2010. Very cheap to run, a perfect little car for someone wanting a car with character. Mileage 15000. She drives like a dream and always starts first time. She has been regularly driven locally, and enjoyed the occasional road trip slightly further afield. 1968 G reg 1000, smoke grey, first registered in the UK in 1998 (from the Netherlands). Service history from time in the UK. Currently in Halesowen, West Midlands. Lots of work has been done on her in the short time I have had her - new refurbished unleaded engine & gearbox, clutch, new exhaust, new engine ancillaries, new (hydrogen filled) tyres, new front brake shoes & cylinders, has been serviced recently. Body is sound - front number plate came off, and drivers side front wing has a scrape that will buff out, but shell is good. New rear valance included, as well as other bits and pieces that I haven't got around to fitting. Starts first time, every time, even in heavy frost. She's an absolute star. It breaks my heart to sell her, but I cannot afford to keep on spending money on her. The current issue is the clutch is slipping. I have parts for the clutch - relay plate, but no time/place/tools to do the work myself. Looking for £3500 - will consider all offers.
