Green 2 door saloon I have owned the car since 2000. I use it regularly and it is in good running order. It had a respray in 2001 and new seals around the windows. Body work is in good condition but has slight rusting around edges (see photo) I drove it for a few years and then kept it in the garage whilst I was at university. In 2009 we spent £1700 having it converted to unleaded and restored to good working order. Interior carpets and seats in good condition, one small seam tear to passenger seat (see pictures). There are speakers and an aerial fitted by previous owner but I have never had a music system fitted. Imobiliser fitted 2000. (Break down of work carried out: New fuel pump, new o/s rack gaiter, all four front wheel cylinders renewed, new front brake shoes and bridge pipes, fit lead free head, renewed rear wheel cylinders and brake pipes, new front wheel bearings, new wiper blades, new o/s sealed beam fitted,cut away o/s front cross member, fitted and welded into position new leg) I have just had her MOT done - next renewal due Sep 2011 The car was my 18th Birthday present and I will be sad to see her go but we both do lots of driving and need a car capapble of high annual mileage! 1968 G reg 1000, smoke grey, first registered in the UK in 1998 (from the Netherlands). Service history from time in the UK. Currently in Halesowen, West Midlands. Lots of work has been done on her in the short time I have had her - new refurbished unleaded engine & gearbox, clutch, new exhaust, new engine ancillaries, new (hydrogen filled) tyres, new front brake shoes & cylinders, has been serviced recently. Body is sound - front number plate came off, and drivers side front wing has a scrape that will buff out, but shell is good. New rear valance included, as well as other bits and pieces that I haven't got around to fitting. Starts first time, every time, even in heavy frost. She's an absolute star. It breaks my heart to sell her, but I cannot afford to keep on spending money on her. The current issue is the clutch is slipping. I have parts for the clutch - relay plate, but no time/place/tools to do the work myself. Looking for £3500 - will consider all offers.
